Future Confident is a philosophy that ties the three parts of Uniform Group, Somewhere, and Continuous together. It expresses the way they invest in the next generation, to the way they explore cutting-edge technology of the future, to how they help all of their clients see their futures with confidence. They wanted this ethos brought to life, transforming the entrance of their Liverpool Studio.

The Uniform team liked the Dotto loopy, expressive style, so that was the starting point. I wanted it to feel energetic and vibrant but still legible. 'Confident' is a longer word and I had some concerns about squishing it, so I played with some configurations to make it work.The curve ball was the light fitting on the wall that couldn't be moved. I designed the lettering so that the i would fall underneath the light and act as the dot. The pink tint used for the flourishes allows the words to remain the focus, while adding a sense of balance.
